FMS Direct was founded in 1983 by Rodney H. Buchser. Prior to establishing FMS Direct. Mr. Buchser was widely regarded as a pioneer in developing innovative marketing and sales strategies for leading companies in the financial services sector. After founding the Financial News Network (later CNBC) and establishing it as a major marketing vehicle for its sponsors, Mr. Buchser launched FMS Direct.
Since that time, FMS Direct has earned its reputation as one of the world's most successful direct response marketing companies – producing more than 2000 short form commercials, 250 infomercials, and a wide variety of successful DVD sales presentations for its clients. FMS Direct has generated literally billions of dollars in sales for companies and products from virtually every category – including financial services, personal success, fitness and beauty, health, household products, and many others.

In 2003, Walter Burch, a writer/producer and broadcast journalist, became a partner in FMS Direct. Mr. Burch serves as FMS Direct's Creative Director, collaborating with Rodney Buchser and FMS Direct's team of award-winning writers, directors, cinematographers, and post-production professionals to create high-impact campaigns for our clients.
